Jennifer Lopez wants to feel “sexy and modern”

The sultry R and B singer, who has just publicly announced her split from her third mother Marc Anthony, says that she needs to feel both comfortable and sexy at the same time.

She said: “I’m a mom. I work. I want comfort. But I want to feel sexy and modern. I think most women want the same things.” I think we do – but we can’t pull it off the way that Jen does. You would never know that the woman is 42.

Jen, you want to feel sexy and modern and I think that everyone’s boyfriend or husband would agree that you already are.

Kelly Brook designs her own maternity range

Kelly Brook is to design her own range of maternity clothes.

The model-and-actress is currently pregnant with her first child and she has been asked by British high street chain New Look to create a line of stylish clothes for mothers-to-be to wear.

Kelly – who has already got her own underwear and swimwear range with the popular store – said: “A few fun projects have come about because I am pregnant: New look want me to do a maternity range for them to come out in June and I have been designing some rag dolls for a friend of mine who makes children’s toys.

“I still work with Reebok, who have been very supportive and are looking forward to seeing me get back in shape in September.”

Despite being pregnant, Kelly is determined to be look good throughout her pregnancy and recently revealed how she dresses up more when she’s in London.

She said: “When I’m in London I like dressing up. I’ll wear lots of 50s-style prom dresses, pencil skirts, and blouses because they really flatter my hourglass figure. But right now I’m living in LA so I’m living in jeans and t-shirts.”

Lily Allen is to create her debut range of clothes for her own label.

Lily Allen is to create her debut range of clothes for her own label.

The pop star will release the collection under the guise of her London vintage store Lucy In Disguise – which she operates with her sister Sarah Owen.

Designer Kim Jones’ sister Nadia Jones will work on the collection with Lily, merging details from the vintage details of the pieces in the store with their own designs.

Each item will be named after people and places, with designs including the Fortnums and the Capone.

UK department store Harvey Nichols will be the first place to stock the clothes, which will launch in June.

Lily – who has previously designed a collection for UK high street store New Look – recently offered fans the chance to spend a “boozy evening” at her store and take home a free handbag as part of charity Twit Relief.

She wrote on twitter: “What shall I offer up for Twitrelief? Am struggling to come up with something interesting . Ok how about, a follow, a handbag of your choice from my personal collection and a boozy evening at Lucy in Disguise for you and 4 friends . You’d all get free hire of an amazog dress. Each and I might throw in dinner too. Whadya say? (sic)”
